Keysha Baynes (Coach Key) is from Pittsburgh, PA and has 15+ years as a CULTURAL CONSULTANT and TRAVEL COACH. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in International Public Health from Clark Atlanta University and immediately embarked on the “international” part of her degree experience.

Ms. Baynes moved to Japan initially as an English as a Second Language teacher but after 2 years, she enrolled in Kansai College for Business and Languages where she studied Japanese and translation. Upon completion, she sponsored her own visa as a contract CULTURAL CONSULTANT for schools and companies where she coached those hoping to live/work abroad. This involved language preparation, etiquette training, relocation assistance and cross-cultural mapping.

After 7 years in Japan, she moved to South Korea where she performed some of the same duties but this time 85% of her clientele were United States military dependents moving to America for the first time. Her success with this population lead to her being hired as a

TRAVEL COACH

for Troops Away Tours which specialized in travel experiences for military families, United States State Department employees and American contractors with various passport and visa restrictions. Ms. Baynes spent a total of 10 years as an expat and settled in Los Angeles in 2012 as the co-founder of TRAVEL ROOKIES. With her own company, she has expanded her love for travel to include a department specifically dedicated to

coaching those that are preparing for their FIRST TRIP abroad.
